Textile Wall-hanging Art Quilt Maraschino Colors 45" x 36"

"Maraschino with a Twist of Lime" explains the colors of this oversized fuscia and orange flower embellished with black rick rack. The center is a hand-painted, stitch embellished duplicate of the larger flower. 100% cotton fabric on a black printed background. Extensive machine quilting is free motion technique using metallic thread. Binding is double, turned from front and hand-stitched to the back so no stitches show on front. Hanging sleeve is sewn on back. Originally designed for my applique book, but pulled due to space limitations- the size of the petals required too many pages! Consequently, this is an unseen, unpublished, definitely one-of-a-kind design!
